Kinetic Entertainment
We are so excited to have Laura Ernst, Kinetic Entertainment for this years barn loft entertainment! You’ve never seen a show like this before- guaranteed. You'll be laughing and applauding like crazy as Laura’s unique high-energy show captivates and gives you and your family memories that will last long after the show. As seen on America’s Got Talent, Laura starts the show inside the human-sized hamster ball and keeps the laughter rolling with fire juggling and the high flying aerial fabric hung from the loft barn. You’ll have to see it to believe it! ".

Offers your newest challenge. Be one of the first to seek your way thru this super maze. The corn is high and the path is confusing. Can you do it?
Mr. Magic
Barn Loft Entertainment features Mr. Magic, who writes, “Seeing this show may cause heavy laughing, gasping with amazement, confusion and feeling totally entertained. I want you to be aware of the possible consequences prior to witnessing this show!”
Mr. Magic is the 2011 1st Place winner of the Presidential Challenge International Brotherhood of Magicians in Minnesota. This show promises to provide magical moments and laughter for you! One weekend only, be sure to see it!
Second Annual Grinnell Christian Preschool Trike-A-Thon
Get ready, get set, and go to Carroll’s Pumpkin Farm for the 2nd Annual Grinnell Christian Preschool Trike-A-Thon. 6:00-8:00 p.m. The kids take on the challenge to ride the course to raise money for the preschool. We are donating the prizes and want to cheer them on! Those fans coming to cheer them on will get in for reduced admission. Let’s all support a great preschool!
Let the Games Begin
You can choose your favorite team logo and see how many of your corn bags fall thru the hole. Two of the teams include Iowa State Cyclones, Iowa Hawk Eyes. Come vote for your favorite team by putting a kernel of corn in the jar!
Prairie Fire Gymnastics Competition Team Exhibition
Come watch and cheer as they show their skills on our Big Orange Jumping Pillow. One 15 minute show only, be sure to be there at 1:30.

Get Your Picture Taken
Photographer Jaci VandeKrol will be available to take your family photos. Jaci’s great photos will help preserve your memories. Be sure to talk to her to for details when you arrive.
Military Appreciation Weekend
All active duty military with valid ID are admitted FREE to the farm. Accompanying family members at regular price.
Udderly Fun!
Come milk Maizie our cow and get free information about dairy and nutrition. Don’t forget to catch a ride on our Cow Train! The younger farmers will love to pretend in the new, little barn next to the pumpkin playhouse. It’s a great place to develop their imagination about life on the farm!
Square Dancing in the Barn Loft!
Get your feet tapping and your hands clapping as we open up the barn loft for an old fashioned Square Dance. Young or old, experienced or just learning, come join us for the square dancing fun! The band and caller begin at 6:00 and wrap up at 9:00 p.m. Special admission for the night is $4.00 per person with a maximum family admission of $25.00.
Barn Sale Begins
Warm up by our campfire and roast marshmallows! It’s the perfect way to enjoy a fall day in the country. While you are here check out the store for great end of the season bargains as the Barn Sale Begins.
Keith West Magic and Illusion Show
Sunday, Oct. 23 only! This promises to be one of a kind entertainment as Keith specializes in grand illusions! You’ll want to see this and you still won’t believe it!
Harvest Day Celebration
Join Wes and Jaci VandeKrol for a hands on experience making apple cider using a cider press. Savor the taste of fall with a choice of apple cider, pumpkin pie mocha, apple slices, or a caramel apple cookie. Enjoy your treats as you harvest some savings in the gift shop and store. End of the season sale continues on selected home décor, gifts, and children’s toys. Make sure to harvest your bargains!
