Times passes but family and tradition remain important

General AdmissionWe are thankful that Carroll's Pumpkin Farm has become a tradition for many families. It is amazing to reflect back and see how our farm has been blessed through the years making those memories and traditions possible. We began growing pumpkins in 1984 to help with our struggling farm operation. We had foster children as well as children of our own and we wanted work that could involve everyone and would also contribute to the family income. We began by growing 2 acres of pumpkins which were picked, hand washed and then delivered to stores with quality assurance.

In 1989 we expanded the wholesale business and started selling pumpkins to families who wanted to come to the field and pick their own. It was then we realized the opportunity of opening a farm that would offer families the fun and memories of playing on the farm and picking their own pumpkins. In 1991 we purchased the present farm and that fall opened Carroll's Pumpkin Farm.

Our farm is 40 acres and we rotate the pumpkin crop with corn and soy beans. We are family owned and our grown children as well as Joy's parents still help with the business.

Our Lord is the center of all we do at Carroll's Pumpkin Farm. We praise Him for the beauty of the fall season and all He has created for us to enjoy. It has been 19 years since we opened the farm, but we hold to the same beliefs in family, friends and hard work.
